Lucas Siepser, a senior, has made his mark on the Unionville Boys’ Track team. He has helped his team to accomplish many goals throughout his career by being an outstanding leader and teammate, consistently encouraging his teammates to communicate well and work hard together as a whole. 

Lucas has been running for the Unionville Boys’ Track team since he was a freshman. Since then, he has grown to love distance running. He trains six days a week with his team; whether it's running, swimming, or cycling, staying active is always important for him. He strives to achieve his goals, a trait exemplified by his qualifications for States and performance in the 3200m race at Districts.

His team values communication, integrity, accountability, and encouragement. Lucas will never forget the impact that Coach Mark Lacianca has on his team, always encouraging his runners when there is a new personal record or accomplishment. Lucas advises his younger teammates to “always take accountability for their actions, show up for practices on time, and put 110% in every event.”

Lucas Siepser will attend Case Western University for Track & Field in the fall. He is sure to  accomplish many goals and success in the future, and Unionville High School cannot wait to see what he does next. g changes in a collection, so visitors can see your newest content on your live site.
